About the Program

Experience a dynamic blend of tradition and innovation by spending six-to-seven weeks in Seoul followed by the remainder of your semester in Tokyo. From Hongdae’s lively scene to Shibuya’s neon streets, this program offers an in-depth exploration of the forces shaping modern Korea and Japan. Understand the influences that shape the worlds of anime, manga, K-Pop, film, gaming, fashion, and food, guided by academic experts and insiders. With a mix of local insight and immersive experiences, gain a deeper understanding of how these cities continue to redefine popular culture and influence creativity worldwide.
