Program Overview

Your CIEE Summer Intern and Study Abroad program in Seville lasts 6 weeks and features three key components: A part-time internship with an international organization (15-20 hours per week), an internship seminar, and a 3-credit academic course taught online through CIEE’s global academic partner, ASU. Enhance your experience with cultural and extracurricular activities while building career skills, expanding your professional network, and immersing yourself in Spanish culture. Live, learn, and work in Seville!

Samples of past excursions and activities: 

  • Explore two of Seville's most iconic landmarks with a knowledgeable guide, including the Giralda Tower and the beautiful gardens of the Alcázar 
  • Travel to Granada to visit the stunning Alhambra Palace and the historic Albaicín neighborhood 
  • Learn to cook traditional Spanish dishes with a local chef, starting with a tour of the vibrant Triana Market to source fresh ingredients
