Your CIEE Summer Intern and Study Abroad program in Dublin lasts 6 weeks and features three key components: A part-time internship with an international organization (15-20 hours per week), an internship seminar, and a 3-credit academic course taught by CIEE faculty or online through CIEE’s global academic partner, ASU. Enhance your experience with cultural and extracurricular activities while building career skills, expanding your professional network, and immersing yourself in Irish culture. Live, learn, and work in Dublin!

CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in Dublin will open doors for you to explore Ireland’s rich diversity, language, culture, history, contemporary trends, vibrant art, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.
Samples of past excursions and activities:
Visit 1,000-year-old cathedrals, take in a traditional hurling match at Croke Park, or wander through the pedestrianized Grafton Quarter
Explore the 6th-century monastery of Glendalough in the rugged Wicklow Mountains and a tour of the medieval city of Kilkenny
Take in scenic views on a coastal hike in the village of Howth before dining on freshly caught fish and chips
