Program Overview

Your CIEE Summer Global Internship program in Rennes lasts 8 weeks and features two key components: A full-time internship with an international organization (approximately 30-40 hours per week) and an internship seminar. Enhance your experience with co-curricular and extracurricular activities while building career skills, expanding your professional network, and immersing yourself in French culture. Live, learn, and work in Rennes!

CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in Rennes will open doors for you to explore France's rich diversity, language, culture, history, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.      

Samples of past excursions and activities: 

  • Embark on a journey through time as you explore the Medieval castle of Fougères
  • Get away to Nantes and discover the Galerie des Machines, a bestiary of machines inspired by the imaginary world of the writer Jules Verne
  • Explore the walled city of Saint-Malo, admire the view from its ramparts, and enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in France
