Summer is the perfect time for your Harlaxton experience!
Spend five weeks in the beautiful countryside of England taking a course that deeply immerses you in the subject and how it relates to the UK. Most courses go on site visits to bring your learning to life with company visits, performances, guest speakers, and projects. In time away from classes, Harlaxton offers a full array of programming including house competitions, clubs and organizations and local cultural excursions. Students have on site accommodations and have access to the student development office and full-time staff for any questions or issues. Students travel widely in the summer with Harlaxton-sponsored excursions or through independent travel.
Eligibility
Students must hold a
minimum 2.25 GPA to participate in Harlaxton's Five-Week Summer and be in good standing.
Academics
Students will enroll in a minimum of three (3) credit hours. Students wishing to enroll in six (6) credit hours will be subject to additional tuition charges.

Accommodations
Housing and meals are included in the program fee. Student rooms are located in the manor and the adjacent (one-minute walk) Carriage House. There are three residential floors in the manor and two in the Carriage House, and there are several shared bathroom and shower facilities on each floor. All rooms are furnished with beds, wardrobes, desks, chairs, and a sink. Bed linens and towels for each student are provided as well. Bulletin boards in each room allow students to make the room feel more like home by adding personal touches.
Because the size and shape of each room varies slightly due to the design of the buildings, the number of roommates may vary from one to four students per room. Responses from surveys completed during the application process are used to match roommates, and students find out their rooming assignments upon arrival at the manor.
Amenities in both the manor and Carriage House include laundry facilities, vending, and TV/lounge spaces. The Refectory dining service, health clinic, Bistro pub, and student development office are easily accessible to all residents, with a sports hall building on site, as well as walking trails within the 297 acres of surrounding gardens, parkland, woodland, and farmland.
