Program Overview

Your Chinese Language + Asian Studies program in Taipei lasts a full semester and is designed for students interested in the arts, sciences, and language of Taipei. You will enroll in a combination of CIEE courses, host institution courses, and courses taught online through CIEE's global academic partner, ASU. Academics

CIEE Taipei: Located in the modern SkyCo Nanjing Fuxing Coworking Space, CIEE Taipei is just a two-minute walk from Nanjing Fuxing metro station. On-site, discover comfortable study spaces, complimentary Wi-Fi, and free Americano coffee. CIEE Taipei staff members are fluent in both English and Mandarin and are available by appointment to assist with any academic support needs.

National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU): Established in 1946, NTNU is known for its contributions to the field of education and for producing skilled educators who have significantly impacted Taiwan's educational landscape. In addition to its academic achievements, NTNU is famous for its language education programs, particularly the Mandarin Training Center (MTC), which is one of the leading centers for learning Mandarin Chinese.

Arizona State University (ASU): Brought to you by CIEE in partnership with ASU, enhance your international coursework with online classes that align with your degree requirements. ASU offers thousands of online courses in asynchronous 7.5-week sessions that fit within the CIEE academic calendar.
