Community Health & Medical Spanish

Spend your summer exploring global health and medical Spanish at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (UPCH), one of Peru's top-rated universities.

Designed for advanced Spanish speakers pursuing careers in healthcare, this program combines rigorous academics with meaningful real-world experience
Take courses in Community Health and Medical Spanish alongside UPCH's physicians in clinics and health centers in low-income areas
An advanced level of Spanish proficiency is required as all courses are taught in Spanish by expert UCPH faculty
Participate in field work, helping you improve your Spanish language skills and engage in hands-on experience in community health
Enjoy activities such as sandboarding in the desert, exploring ancient ruins, learning about conservation efforts in the Amazon, or feeding alpacas in the Andes
