Program Description:
Maynooth University

Maynooth University is Ireland’s fastest growing university with over 11,000 students from more than 90 countries. Maynooth University benefits from a tradition of academic excellence in the humanities and sciences tracing back to 1795. Located just 15 miles from Dublin, Maynooth offers world-class teaching facilities and small class sizes. The diverse, flexible and selective study abroad curriculum enables you to match your study abroad options with your home university program.

Eligibility

Maynooth University requires that students applying to their study abroad program hold a minimum 3.0 GPA at the time of application.

However, students with a GPA between 2.75 and 3.0 are eligible for consideration if they provide two letters of recommendation.

Academics

View Maynooth courses available to study abroad participants.

Students will receive pre-approval for their class choices in advance of arrival. After acceptance, students will be sent information about our International Module Approval System (IMAS) and will log in during a set period to upload their transcript and select modules. International Coordinators will then log in and accept (or not accept) students into their chosen modules. There is also a 2 week add/drop period at the beginning of each semester to make changes.

Accommodations

On-campus accommodation is reserved for all study abroad students. You will reside in a single en-suite room in an apartment-style setting. Each apartment has a well equipped kitchen, and laundry facilities are conveniently located near the apartment blocks. Visit the Maynooth University Accommodation website for additional information on the apartments, pricing, and application process.

Cost

Tuition at Maynooth is €6,000 per semester, which is approximately $6,772.96 USD.
